IRINGA: Chama cha mapinduzi (CCM) wilaya ya Iringa mjini chapinga vikali shutuma zinazotolewa na chama cha demokrasia na maendeleo (CHADEMA) kwamba kinafanya biashara ya kununua madiwani wake.

Akizungumza na Tumbusi blog jana katika mahojiano maalum katibu mwenezi wa CCM Wilaya ya Iringa mjini Edwin Bashiri alisema kuwa chama hicho hakifanyi mnada wa kununua au kuuza  madiwani kutoka chama kikuu cha upinzani Chadema isipokuwa madiwani wanahamia CCM baada ya kuchoshwa na uongozi ndani ya chama chao.

Alisema kuwa madiwani wanaohamia CCM kutoka Chadema wanafanya hivyo kwa hiari yao wenyewe baada ya kuona kwenye chama chao kutokana na migogoro ya kiuongozi inayoendelea ndani ya chama hicho.

Bashiri alisema kuwa chama cha mapinduzi hakijawahi kufanya biashara ya kununua madiwani kwa sababu hakuna mnada wakununua au kuuza madiwani.

Naye katibu mwenezi wa CCM mkoa wa Iringa Ramadhani Baraza alisema kuwa wananchi wanatakiwa kupuuza maneno ya uongo kutoka kwa wapinzani kwamba chama hicho hakifanyi biashara yoyote ya kununua madiwani kutoka Chadema.

Baraza alisema kuwa katika ilani ya chama hicho ya mwaka 2015- 2020 imeainisha vitu gani chama hicho kiliahidi wananchi katika kampeni mwaka 2015 ni pamoja ujenzi wa barabara ikiwemo barabara ya kutoka Iringa mjini kuelekea hifadhi ya taifa ya ruaha kwa kiwango cha lami.

CCM IN IRINGA RETALIATE AGAINST REV. PETER MSIGWA ALLEGATIONS

IRINGA: The Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) of Iringa Urban Constituency has retaliated to the allegations directed them by Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA) that is trading in buying its councilors.

Speaking to the Guardian yesterday during an interview, CCM Iringa Urban spokesman Edwin Bashiri said the party did not make a purchase of councilors from Chadema's opposition party but instead they moved to the CCM running away from ongoing party squabbles.

He said that CCM councilors from Chadema are doing so willingly after seeing at the party due to the ongoing crisis in the party.

Bashiri said so far they were eight ward councilors decamped to CCM from Chadema in the iringa urban constituency (five elected councilors and three special seats) making their decisions within four months.

In the 2015 General Elections, Chadema scooped 14 out of 18 wards and carried Iringa urban constituency into the second round through its candidate, Pastor Peter Msigwa.

He explained the reasons for resigning, that they had failed to endure the leadership violence committed by Pastor Msigwa and Iringa Municipal Mayor.

"There is no democracy in Chadema, working under these two people is a problem and self-denial, but if the leaders leave their positions, I am ready to return and become a regular member, "he said.

Bashiri said the revolutionary party had never made a business purchase of councilors because there was no auction to buy or sell councilors.

On his part, CCM party spokesman for Iringa region Ramadhani Baraza said the people should ignore the false statements from the rivals that the party does not do any business to buy councilors from Chadema.

He said that eight councilors moving to the CCM from Chadema are following a good party manifesto implemented by the party.

Baraza said that in the 2015-2020 party manifesto, the party's commitment to the pepole of the announced in 2015, including road construction, including the road from Iringa to the Ruaha National Parks (RUNAPA).
