MKUU WA MKOA WA TANGA APASUA HISIA ZAKE KWA WAANDISHI

Mkuu wa mkoa wa Tanga, Said Kalembo amewataka wahariri kusaidia kupatikana kwa nyenzo za wafanyakazi wao waliopo mikoani ili kuwaondolea utegemezi.






Mkuu wa mkoa alisema utegemezi huo unawafanya wasiwe huru katika kufanyakazi zao.






Alisema yeye anaona taabu sana anapowaona waandishi wa habari wakihangaika kwa kukosa usafiri na kulazimika kuomba hapa na pale akisema kwamba hali hiyo inamuingiza mtegoni.






"Mtu hawezi kuwa huru kama anafadhiliwa kila kitu" alisistiza Mkuu huyo wa mkoa ambaye alisema pamoja na hayo ofisi yake husaidia pale inapowezekana ili waweze kuandika habari za maendeleo.






Pia katika mazungumzo yake aliwataka kuzingatia mafunzo na kutumia mafunzo hayo kuunga daraja la kuhabarisha wananchi.






"Wahariri fikirini kuwawezesha, wasaidieni wapeni nyenzo, magari na vitendea


tunawanyima uhuru kwa ajili ya fadhila, kapewa usafiri wa gari, posho na mahali pa kulala. ataandika nini" alisisitiza mkuu huyo wa mkoa.






Mkuu ambaye alikuwa akifungua warsha ya wadau katika uchaguzi uliopita alisema kwamba ipo haja ya kuangalia dhamana kama viongozi kuwajali walio chini.






Katika uchaguzi uliopita malalamiko mengi yalikuwa ni ufadhili wa vyma a kwa waandishi ambao ulionekana kuchachafya kanuni za kazi za kiuandishi.






Imeelezwa kuwa wengine waliachwa kwa sababu ya kuandika kinyume na wengine hawakujereshwa katika msafara hali inayoonesha kuna mambo gani yanaweza kutukia ukitumia usafiri na posho ya mtu unayetakiwa kumwandikia ukiwa huru.

KALEMBO HAILS THE MEDIA BUT............

TANGA Regional Commissioner Said Kalembo has hailed the media for the job well done during the just ended Sunday General Election 2010 although there were some mistakes here and there.


The regional commissioner made the remarks on Friday during a one-day programme for print media stakeholders’ consultative workshop held in Tanga city council.


He said that journalists and other media stakeholders did the good job by making the general public knowing what was happening in different parts of the country during the election process.


However, the regional commissioner pointed an accusing finger to the media owners and editors for not facilitating their journalists in terms of providing transport  but instead they let them journalists asking for transport favours from the RCs which will make them write news stories bent to the sources who have provided them with money and other things.


The media owners were urged to provide in-service training to their journalist so they can become more competent than ever hence perfection and maintaining professionalism.


“The leadership of the media owners and editors should make sure they give and provide incentives to their journalists instead of letting the journalists going to government leaders and ask for transport favours because they will write for it interest of the sources,” he said.


He said media owners should make sure that they look after their journalists in the upcountry because the good leadership is that that respect their workers.
