A-SIX-YEAR- OLD CHILD IN IRINGA KILLED DUE TO SUGARCANE




The police force in Iringa are holding a garden boy a resident of Kilolo district for allegedly killing a- six –year- old child. 

Iringa Police Commander (RPC) Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Juma Bwire Makanya told reporters yesterday that the suspect Jofrey Josephat, 29 the resident of Kilolo district has being arrested by the police for allegedly killing a child. 

ACP Bwire said the incident occurred on 04/07/2014 at around 11:00 hrs in the Kibwabwa “B” area of Kitwiru Ward in the municipality of Iringa, Iringa region. 

He said the male child whose name was reserved, was a resident of Kibwabwa “B” of Kitwiru Ward in Iringa Municipal council was executed by cutting neck and hands using a (panga) and then his body was kept in the bag and hid it in the unfinished house nearby. 

The commander explained that the source of the killings was due to a statement of injuries from a child accused of a suspect for allegedly was unreasonable after the child was denied piece of sugarcane. 

ACP Bwire said the suspect was filled with anger and then took the decision. However, the detective continues and before the suspect is taken to court of law. End
