Service man Mohammedi said that Mereani's military training was officially opened on January 22, 2018 by the 514 KJ Captain JL Kashinde, with 1,185 youth including 815 boys and 370 girls.
Mohamedi said until last week of the training the number of 1,179 youth graduated but six others did not manage to finish the race due to various reasons including the lack of patience, laziness, hopelessness and patriotism in their country.
He said that during the course of training they learned life skills such as agricultural activities, livestock, construction and other productive activities and various social activities.
In turn, the acting commander of Mafinga JKT Captain Victor Nkya explained the training for the young people in the camp was a great success in the new techniques that were used to ensure that all young people who joined the training are safe.
Capt. Nkya said that the training aimed at building or teaching things such as nationalism, love, unity, solidarity and cooperation, patience and perseverance, discipline and entrepreneurships.
He said that in general their young people were cooked well and had been trained in accordance with the National serving training program.
The Tanzania National Service was established on July 10, 1963 with the government aimed at bringing together the youth of this country and providing them with the formation of patriotism and unity in society after independence.
Some of the reasons for the introduction of JKT were to convert the thinking of young people of this country from the colonial situation to depend on other countries to develop.
