KITABU CHA UWIANO WA TAKWIMU ZA WANAWAKE NA WANAUME CHAZINDULIWA




Meneja wa Takwimu za Watu na Jamii kutoka Ofisi ya Taifa ya Takwimu (NBS), Sylvia Meku (katikati) akiwa na wadau wakionesha kitabu cha uwiano wa takwimu za wanawake na wanaume wakati wa hafla ya kuzindua kitabu hicho iliyofanyika jijini Dar es Salaam leo. Kutoka kushoto ni Mkurugenzi wa Habari na Ulaghibishi wa Tume ya Kudhibiti Ukimwi Tanzania (Tacaids), Jumanne Issango, Ofisa wa Takwimu kutoka nchini Sweden, Cath Craiger, Mtakwimu kutoka Sweden, Ana Morkuda na Mwanahabari Philip..Kitabu hicho kimeandikwa na wanafunzi watano kutoka Tanzania waliopata mafunzo ya miezi 11 nchini Sweden.



Mada kuhusu mafunzo hayo zikitolewa kabla ya uzinduzi.






Wafadhili wa mafunzo hayo kutoka nchini Sweden wakifuatilia mada kuhusu mafunzo hayo.



Mkurugenzi wa Habari na Ulaghibishi wa Tume ya Kudhibiti Ukimwi Tanzania (Tacaids), Jumanne Issango (kushoto) na Meneja wa Takwimu za Watu na Jamii kutoka Ofisi ya Taifa ya Takwimu (NBS), Sylvia Meku ambaye alikuwa mgeni rasmi kwenye hafla hiyo wakifuatilia kwa karibu hafla hiyo.

Mhadhiri kutoka Chuo cha Takwimu cha Afrika Mashairiki, Chisker Masaki (kushoto), akizungumzia mafunzo ya takwimu waliopata nchini Sweden.



Mratibu wa masuala ya Jinsia wa Tacaids, Jacob Kayombo akichangia jambo katika mkutano huo.



Mkurugenzi wa Ufuatiliaji na Tathmini wa Tacaids, Jerome Kamwela akichangia jambo kwenye mkutano huo.

WANAUME wameonekana kuwa wengi katika nafasi mbalimbali ukilinganisha na wanawake.


Hayo yamebainishwa na Mhadhiri wa Chuo cha Takwimu Afrika Mashariki, Chisker Masaki wakati akizungumza na waandishi wa habari Dar es Salaam leo katika hafla ya uzinduzi wa Kitabu cha Uwiano wa Taarifa za Takwimu kwa Wanawake na Wanaume Tanzania.


Alisema kitabu hicho kimeandaliwa na washiriki wa mafunzo ya ukusanyaji wa taarifa za takwimu kutoka Tume ya kudhibiti Ukimwi (TACAIDS), Hakielimu , Ofisi yaTaifa ya Takwimu (NBS) na Chuo cha Takwimu cha AfrikaMashariki, chini ya wakufunzi wa masuala ya ukusanyaji wa taarifa kutoka nchini Sweden. 


Masaki alisema utafiti unaonesha kuwa kuna tofauti kubwa za uwiano kati ya mwanamke na mwaume katika nyanja za kimaendeleo na kijamii, ambapo maeneo mengi yanaonekana kutwaliwa na wanaume kuliko wanawake.


Akitolea mfano upande wa elimu kuanzia shule za msingi hadi chuo kikuu wasichana wanaoandikishwa hadi kufikia chuo kikuu ni wachache ukilinganisha na wavulana,watu wenye nafasi nzuri maofisini hasa ngazi za Ukurugenzi na mameneja wengi ni wanaume ukilinganisha na wanawake,viongozi wa kisiasa mfano mawaziri na wabunge wanawake ni wachache ukilinganisha na wanaume.


Alisema pamoja na uwiano huo wa wanaume kuwa kiwango kikubwa katika masuala ya maendeleo wanawake wamekuwa wakichukua nafasi kubwa katika kuathirika na maambukizi ya VVU na UKIMWI.


Mafunzo hayo ya ukusanyaji wa taarifa yalianza tangu mwaka 2016 mwezi Mei hadi Machi 2017 ambapo mafunzo yalifanyika nchini Sweden ni ukusanyaji wa taarifa pamoja na uandaaji wake kitabu ukafanyika Tanzania.

Pikiniki zinazofanywa na watu mbalimbali katika fukwe zilizoko kwenye ukanda wa utalii visiwani Zanzibar, zinachangia uharibifu mkubwa wa mazingira unaotishia kuwakimbiza watalii.



Shughuli ya kusafisha mazingira iliyofanywa juzi katika eneo dogo kwenye ufukwe wa Muyuni ulioko Matemwe mkoa wa Kaskazini Unguja, ilikusanya karibu tani moja ya takataka zikiwemo chupa za plastiki.



Operesheni hiyo iliyochukua saa moja, ilijumuisha wafanyakazi wa Amber Resort na Best of Zanzibar, na kusafisha eneo linaoandaliwa kwa ajili ya mradi mkubwa wa kitalii utakaofanywa na kampuni ya Pennyroyal.



Akizungumza wakati wa shughuli hiyo, Meneja Mradi wa Amber Resort Murtaza Hassanali, alisema vijana wanaotembeza watalii (mapapasi) pamoja na wageni wanaofika hapo, huondoka wakiacha vitu vingi visivyofaa ambavyo hugeuka kuwa taka na sumu kwa viumbe wa baharini.



Aidha alieleza kuwa, pikiniki zinazofanywa na watu kutoka mjini na maeneo mengine hasa vijana, ni chanzo kikuu cha uharibifu wa fukwe hizo.



"Angalia ufukwe wote umejaa chupa za plastiki, karatasi za foili, mifuko na viatu visivyofaa na hakuna mtu anayejali kusafisha. Hii ni hatari sana kwa ustawi wa mazingira ya baharini," alisema.



Hata hivyo, alisema kampuni yake inakusudia kuubadilisha ufukwe huo kwa kusambaza vifaa vya kuwekea taka na kutoa elimu kwa wakaazi wa kijiji hicho juu ya umuhimu wa usafi wa mazingira.



Aidha alisema kwa kushirikiana na serikali ya wilaya kupitia ofisi ya halmashauri, wataandaa mabango ya matangazo yanayohimiza wananchi kuhifadhi fukwe na maeneo yote ya kijiji hicho na kuyaweka katika sehemu tafauti.



Kwa upande wake, Nahya Khamis Nassor, mwanafunzi wa Chuo Kikuu cha Taifa Zanzibar (SUZA) anayesomea elimu ya afya na mazingira, alisema inasikitisha kuona fukwe zinazotegemewa kuwa kivutio kwa watalii, zimekithiri uchafu bila uangalizi.



Alifahamisha kuwa, Kamisheni ya Utalii Zanzibar inafanya kazi kubwa ya kuvitangaza vivutio vilivyopo nchini kwa kusambaza vipeperushi vinavyoonesha uzuri wa mandhari pamoja na taarifa mbalimbali ili kuwashawishi watalii kuendelea kuja visiwani humu.



Hata hivyo, alisema pale watakapokuja na kukuta hali ni tafauti, watalii hao watahisi wamedanganywa na huenda wakafikiria mara mbili kabla hawajaamua kuja tena au hata kuvitangaza visiwa hivi kwa wananchi wenzao.



"Uchafu huu unaozagaa ufukweni unaishia baharini kwa kusombwa na maji yanapojaa. Plastiki haziozi na samaki wanaweza kuzila bila kukusudia na hii ni hatari kwa rasilimali za baharini kutoweka," alieleza Nahya.



Pamoja na kuwaomba wakaazi wa kijiji hicho kuzilinda na kuzihifadhi fukwe zao, aliishauri serikali ya wilaya kuunda kanuni maalumu zitakazosaidia kudhibiti uchafu unaotishia kuwakimbiza watalii.



Alisema itakuwa vyema, kanuni hizo ziweke adhabu ikiwemo faini kwa mtu yeyote atakaepatikana akichafua mazingira kwa makusudi kama inavyofanyika katika nchi na miji mingine.



Ofisa mratibu wa kampuni ya Amber Resort Mohammed Issa Khatib, alisema mpango huo utakuwa endelevu ili kuhakikisha elimu ya usafi wa mazingira inawafikia wananchi wote kijijini hapo na watu wengine wanaokitembelea ambao alisema ndio wanaoacha athari kubwa ya uchafu.



Aliwaomba wavuvi na vijana wanaofanya biashara za kitalii ufukweni waache kutupa taka ovyo, kwani kufanya hivyo kunachafua mandhari na taswira ya Zanzibar nzima mbele ya macho ya watalii.


Zambia name team for Tanzania friendly

FAZ has announced that Chipolopolo will face Tanzania in an international friendly during this week’s FIFA international window.

Zambia will face Tanzania on Friday in Dare Salaam with another match tentatively set for Sunday.

Zambia will use the game as part of the preparations for the African Nations Championship against Swaziland in July.

This will be Zambia’s first match in 2017.

Chipolopolo coach Wedson Nyirenda has already summoned 28 players for the Tanzania match that includes Zamalek striker Emmanuel Mayuka and Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene.

Nyirenda’s team was scheduled to regroup in Lusaka on Monday evening.

DHI NUREYN ISLAMIC FOUNDATION DONATES FOUR BOREHOLES TO NDULI RESIDENTS

THE residents of Kipululu and Igungandembwe neighborhoods in Nduli Ward, Iringa Municipality, in Iringa Region have praised Dhi Nureyn Islamic Foundation Iringa - Tanzania supporting those boreholes (water wells) with clean and safe water not long time ago.

Citizens through their Ward Councillor, Bashiri Mtove thanked the institution for helping them get four wells with safe and clean water, adding that over 50 years they have never had access to clean and safe water, where previously they had used water from water gorge.

They said that for many years they have been using non safe water due to the lack of potable water infrastructure, but through water wells provided their lives will improve.

Maneno Mtove a resident of Igungandembwe in Kigonzile Village of said that for 50 years they have never had access to clean and safe water, unless they were using water from the ponds that are not safe for health.

"We are very grateful for Dhi Nureyn Islamic Foundation helps us get these wells and for valuing our health care ..." said Maneno Mtove.

Nduli Ward is one of the wards that in the outskirt of Iringa Municipal Council, Iringa region that lacks of potable water infrastructure where many people use shallow wells with no clean and safe water.

For his part, Dhi Nureyn Islamic Foundation Iringa, Tanzania, Supervisor of projects, Faiz Said Abri said that his institution in collaboration with Al Muntada Aid of UK have been able to dig four water wells worth Shs 10,400,000 / -, where one well costs Shs 2.6m / -.

Muntada Aid is a global humanitarian charity which operates in some of the world’s most vulnerable places, by providing much needed assistance to communities that have been affected by disasters, conflicts, and the cycle of poverty.


Muntada Aid is working with partners, who are already based in developing countries to run sustainable health, educational, water security, capacity building and emergency relief projects.

He said that his organization in collaboration with Al Muntada Aid they can dig four Visma clean water and safe local citizens in a desolate place and Igungandembwe Thug County, Municipal Iringa, Iringa region.

Faiz Abri said yesterday that the main objective of Dhi Nureyn Islamic Foundation is to provide spiritual and social services to all people through establishment of Mosques, Islamic schools (madrasa), Orphanage centers, Elders centers, Health centers such as Dispensaries, Vocational and Training centers for girls, Women revival loan for poverty eradication, Well drilling such as boreholes and shallow wells, and Center for young people for education and awareness of HIV/AIDS.

Iringa Municipality is composed of 18 county and local 192. According to the census of population and housing in 2012, there were 151,345 residents, with 71,932 men and 79,413.

Currently there are 750 million people across the world lack access to clean water. With 840,000 people dying each year from water related disease, Muntada Aid works to give people access to clean water.

Diseases from unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Children are especially vulnerable as their bodies aren’t strong enough to fight diarrhea, dysentery and other illnesses.
