SHULE YA KIMATAIFA IRINGA YASHAURI MABORESHO KATIKA SEKTA YA ELIMU

















SHULE ya Kimataifa ya Iringa imetoa wito kwa serikali ya Dk John Magufuli kuanzisha mpango maalumu wa uingizaji na utumiaji wa teknolojia mbalimbali mpya kwa maendeleo ya nchi kwa kutoa ufadhili wa elimu kwa makundi mbalimbali ya wanafunzi watakaoplekwa katika nchi zenye teknolojia hizo.

Pamoja na mpango huo, shule hiyo imeiomba serikali hiyo kutumia utajiri wa gesi ya Mtwara kuendelea kuboresha mazingira na mifumo ya utoaji wa elimu nchini ili iwiane na nchi zilizopiga hatua kubwa katika sekta hiyo.

Hayo yalisemwa na mjumbe wa bodi ya shule hiyo, Edwin Port kwenye maadhimisho ya siku ya kimataifa ya shule hiyo yenye wanafunzi wa shule ya msingi na sekondari zaidi ya 100, yaliyofanyika shuleni hapo juzi.

Mkuu wa Utawala wa shule hiyo, Jean Milliken alisema; “Kwasababu shule yetu ni ya kimataifa, tumekuwa na kawaida kila mwaka kuwa na siku hii, tunasheherekea utaifa wetu kwasababu tunatoka mataifa mbalimbali.”

Milliken alisema kwa kupitia siku hiyo; wafanyakazi, wanafunzi na wazazi na walezi wao hufanya sherehe kwa kuonesha tamaduni za nchi wanazotoka vikiwemo vyakula vinavyoliwa na mataifa hayo na kufanya maonesho mbalimbali yenye maudhui ya kukuza sekta ya elimu nchini.

Akizungumzia sekta ya elimu na matumizi ya teknolojia kwa maendeleo ya Taifa, Port alisema; “nchi inahitaji shule nyingi za vipaji maalumu sambamba na zile za kimataiafa ili zitoe wataalamu wengi kwa faida ya nchi .”

Alisema mazingira ya Tanzania yanaruhusu kufanyika kwa mapinduzi makubwa ya kiuchumi kama uwekezaji wa kutosha utafanywa katika sekta ya elimu.

“Tanzania inaweza kuwa kama Japan ambayo leo imepiga hatua kubwa ya maendeleo duniani baada ya kuwapeleka watu wake katika nchi mbalimbali duniani ambako walijifunza na kurudisha kwao tekenolojia zilizoliofanya taifa hilo liwe moja kati ya nchi zilizoendelea kiviwanda,” alisema.

Alisema wakati Japan ikipeleka watu wake katika nchi zingine zilizoendelea kujifunza tekenolojia za huko haikuwa mzalishaji mkubwa wa magari lakini hivi sasa; magari yake yanauzwa kila nchi duniani.

Alisema Tanzania inaweza kuwa nchi ya viwanda vinavyotokana na matumizi ya tekenolojia zake kama itathubutu kufanya kile kilichofanywa na Japan.

Mwenyekiti wa Bodi ya Wadhamini, Salim Asas alisifia uwepo wa shule hiyo ya kimataiafa mjini Iringa akisema unasaidia kuupaishia mkoa wa Iringa katika utoaji wa elimu ya kimataifa.

Alisema serikali ina kila sababu ya kuzisaidia shule za kimataifa ili zichukue wanafunzi wengi zaidi wa kitanzania lakini pia zivutie wageni toka nje ya nchi.


Asas alisema elimu inayotolewa katika shule za kimataifa ni elimu bora inayowaandaa wanafunzi kushindana kimataifa katika nchi yoyote ile duniani jambo ni sifa na ni maendeleo kwa nchi.

TPHA CHAWAOMBA WADAU KUTOA USHIRIKIANO ILI KUPAMBANA NA MATUMIZI TUMBAKU KWA VIJANA

Mratibu wa Mradi wa Madhara ya Tumbaku (TPHA) Dk. Bertha T.A. Maegga(kushoto) akizungumza jambo kwenye kikao kilichowashirikisha wadau mbalimbali kutoka katika manispaa za jijii la Dar es Salaam kuhusu kushirikiana na wadau mbalimbali hasa kutoka katika manispaa za jiji hilo ili kudhibiti matumizi na madhara ya Tumbaku hapa nchini na kusisitiza kushirikiana ili kupambana na janga hili hapa nchini linalopelekea kupoteza nguvu kazi kubwa.





Dk. Faustine Njau kutoka Chama cha Afya ya Jamii (TPHA) akisisitiza wadau kujitokeza na kushirikiana nao ili kutatua tatizo la matumizi ya tumbaku pamoja na vileo hasa kwa watoto wadogo wanaoanza kutumia wakiwa wadogo na kupelekea kupata madhara udogoni.Ambapo kwa utafiti uliofanyika umeonesha asilimia 6 ya watoto 400 wa shule za msingi walianza kutumia tumbaku wakiwa hawajui madhara yake.






Mjumbe wa Chama cha Afya ya Jamii (TPHA),Dk. Mashombo Mkamba akizungumza jambo wakati wa majadiliano ni kwa namna gani wanaweza kupunguza matumizi ya Tumbaku katika jamii unayowazunguka na hata kuwaomba wadau mbalimbali kushirikiana ili kuongeza nguvu katika mapambano dhidi ya matumizi ya Tumbaku hasa kwa watoto wadogo ambao ni nguvu kazi ya baadae.



Dk.Tulitweni Mwinuka kutoka manispaa ya Temeke akieleza changamoto wanazozipata pale wanapokuwa wanatoa elimu ya matumizi ya Tumbaku na kusisitiza changamoto kubwa wanayoipata ni wanasiasa kutotoa ushirikiano wa kutosha kwa kuhofia kupoteza wapiga kura wao wakati wa uchaguzi.


Iringa International School (IIS) celebrates it international night in style

Iringa International School (IIS) has called on the government of Dr John Magufuli to establish a special program to importation and use of various new technologies for the development of the country to provide educational funding for various categories of students by taking them to learn in countries with such technology. 

According to the Iringa International School (IIS) Education Board Member, Edwin Port, the school has asked the government to use the wealth of Mtwara gas to continue to improve the environment and education delivery systems in order to distribute evenly and speed up a milestone in the industry. 

Edwin Port made the appeal on Friday when the school was celebration International Night, which was a day of the school with students of primary and secondary more than 100, held at the school premises.

He said that the country blessed with a lot mineral resources and they can well utilized and empower a lot citizen with quality education there will be no more poverty in Tanzania.

He said that the country if will invest heavily in education and use new technologies for development and provide educational funding for various students; it will allow greater economic revolution as substantial investments will be made ​​in the education sector.

"Tanzania can be like Japan which today has made ​​great strides after the developed world to take his people in various countries where they learn the technology so that it will become one nation among industrialized countries," he said. 

He said when Japan sending his people in other countries and in the developed nations to borrow technology it was not a major producer of cars but right now; its vehicles are sold every country in the world. 

He said Tanzania can become the industrial country if will use various new technologies for the development as it was done in Japan. 

Referring to the education sector and the use of technology for national development, Porch said; "Many schools in the country needs talented and compatible international schools to enlarge many professionals for the benefit of the country.

On her part, the Head of Administration of the school, Jean Milliken said; "Because our school is international, we have regularly each year to have this international day; we celebrate our nationality because we come from different nations but one family." 

Milliken said through that day; staff, students and parents and guardians makes ceremony to show their country of origin including cultures and foods eaten by those states and to perform content in different ways to promote the education sector. 

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Salim Asas praised the school's presence in Iringa saying international school helps Iringa region recognition in the provision of international education. 

He said the government has every reason to invite international schools to help more students in Tanzania to learn in those schools but also attract visitors from abroad. 



Asas said education in international schools is the best education that prepares students to compete globally in any country in the world is characterized by what is developed in the country. End
