CHAMA Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) in Iringa Region appealing to residents of Iringa who are eligible voters to vote for CCM in the forthcoming general elections come October this year so that finish work that not yet complete in the first five years of the fourth administration.Speaking on Saturday on the launching of CCM election campaigns in Iringa region l, the Permanent Executive Member for CCM-NEC and CC, John Samuel Malecela said that people vote for CCM party to form the fifth (5) government hence sustainable social and economic development.
The former member of parliament, argued that people should nor hesitate to give CCM votes because what is the CCM Election Manifesto 2010-2015 has outlined major things that the party and its government will implement.
In the fifth government, they have outlined five (5) things that will be implemented and given priorities hence improvement of the standard of living of people hence poverty reduction.
Those priorities include education, health, agriculture, infrastructures like roads in rural areas so that farmers can take their produce to the market, and also the improvement of social services like water, electricity, small and medium enterprise (SME) and also communication and transport.
“If we are given other chance this coming election in October we shall make sure we implement the five areas that is in the election manifesto for the betterment our people, we also continue strengthen peace and tranquility and implement the rule of law for the good governance,” Malecela said.
On the issue of corruption and ‘ufisadi’, Malecela said that government will continue taking to culprits the court of justice, and the people that are involved in both grand corruption and ufisadi are found guilt they will persecuted.
“We are the government that follow rule of law and good governance, since there three state organs such as the executive, legistrature and judiciary, so three state organs are independent,” he emphasized.
