THE Bishop of the Lutheran Church of the Lutheran Church (ELCT), Fredrick Shoo said God has given President John Pombe Magufuli a spirit of fearlessness in his work.
Bishop Shoo said this when he was dedicating and incorporating Bishop Elect Blaston Tuluwene Gaville of Iringa Diocese into the Lutheran Church yesterday (Sunday )in Iringa Town.
He said that Tanzanians are good-minded, they understand and accept you, and the church will pray for you and people will pray for you to have that confidence, so that God will give you good health and not stop standing in the truth.
The bishop concludes by saying, '' We ask God to give you good counselors, not hypocritical counselors, untruths with self-worth goals, consultants who are blaming themselves but having a personal agenda.
The dedication ceremony for the Bishop of the Evangelical Church of the Lutheran Church of Iringa Diocese, Rev. Blaston Tuluwene Gaville, was held on June 25, 2017, in Iringa tooke the position of retired bishop Dr. Owdenberg Moses Mdegella
The ceremony also dedicated and employed the assistant bishop, Pastor Himid Sagga.
According to Iringa Diocese Secretary General, Nayman Chavalla, said the special event was the second in the history of the Diocese, as Pastor Gavile became the second bishop since his establishment.
Initially explaining how the worship would be, Chavalla said began with demonstration by pastors and members of Iringa Diocese in Iringa Urban to the Gangilonga squares where the worship was held.
“The worship will be led by the ELCT Head, Bishop Fredrick Shoo in conjunction with Bishop Rev. Dr. Mdegella," he said.
Also in the worship various Church leaders both in the country and abroad, representatives of the political parties, government leaders, political parties, visitors from different countries, representatives of various companies and organizations attended the ceremony.
The Secretary-General called for the community and all Christians to pray for it.
The ceremony was attended by 210 pastors and 23 retired pastors of the church.
Bishop Blaston Tuluwene Gaville was born on 13.12.1966 in Lulanzi Village, Kilolo District, Iringa Iinga and was third born son in the family of Pastor Tuluwene Gaville and Asnath Semotto.
Bishop Gaville married to Pamella Robert on 26.10.2002 and her family is blessed with four children, three boys and one girl.
