Recognizing staff performance is very important, United Bank for Africa Tanzania is making sure that employees have a very conducive and motivated working environment.
Following the employee’s recognition scheme that aims at recognizing and rewarding examples of high achievement and desirable behavior, encourage excellence and commitment from employees and raises the high morale of employees by showing appreciation of their efforts, Mr. Nicholaus Shimba was announced on Friday as the employee of the second quarter for April to June 2015.
“We take great pleasure in recognizing Nicholaus Shimba as the United Bank for Africa Tanzania employee of the quarter for the period of April through June 2015.” The Chief Operating Officer Mr. Chris Byaruhanga said when handing over the award to the winner. He continued to say “the selection was based on Nicholaus’s demonstrated, sustained, superior performance in the execution of his duties.”
“I am so overwhelmed; I thank you my fellow staff for this achievement, if it were not for the dedicated Wholesale Banking team that I work with, this wouldn’t have happened. He continued to commend the bank for recognizing his efforts “United Bank for Africa is a very good employer they motivate us to do better thus performing with great zeal. The rest of the staff were happy with the selection conveying that Nicholaus is a very hardworking and dedicated chap with a systematic way of handling his responsibilities, “you see him struggle with his team to retain our customers and making things happen in a timely manner. He really deserves the recognitions” they acknowledged.
The occasion ended with the motivated employees asking the winner to sign autographs in their notebooks as way of appreciating this achievement. Working hard comes with a reward and with United Bank for Africa it is an affirmative recognition.
