DESPITE the government abolishing corporal punishment in schools, some teachers in some schools are still doing it. Teachers at Mtwivila Primary School in Iringa Municipal council on Wednesday were found walking pupils on their knees into classrooms together with canning them in their backs and some of the pupils were also doing manual labour in the school flower garden for late coming in the morning.
