Airtel Introduces Tanzania’s first Home Wi-Fi with Bundle Share

Airtel Tanzania has today launched Tanzania’s first and most innovative Internet service “Home WiFi with bundle share”. Users in Tanzania can now set-up their own and personalized Home WiFi and connect up to 32 smart devices (users).

In addition to this, for out of Home usage the users can also add up to 4 family members on same account and provide seamless 3.75G Mobile Internet access, across Tanzania. This means, the same bundle inside the WiFi device can now be used for 2 purposes- WiFi at Home and Internet on Mobiles, outside Home.

It also means, families in Tanzania will not have to buy or recharge separate internet bundles for each device like Tablets, Mobile, Modem, Laptop, TV etc. All they need is that any of the members recharge that “One” WiFi bundle and all members will be recharged immediately, ir-respective of their locations.

The initial package with most affordable recurring WiFi bundles is available in 2 options-

1. Tsh 195,000/- for WiFi device and Free 40 GB bundle over 1 month
2. Tsh 250,000/- for WiFi device and Free 120 GB bundle over 3 months

Both the options offer the facility of Bundle share to add any 4 members using Airtel Tanzania prepaid lines.
